5 People Foods Perfectly Edible for Cats

As a cat owner I'm sure you know the list of things you can't feed your cat.

I'm sure you know them by heart!

So, in today's blog I've decided to tell you a few common foods that you can feed your cat without worrying too much.

Let's take a look!

  • Veggies

Cat are carnivores and they need to eat meat for their survival.

That being said, veggies aren't inherently bad for your kitty either!

Some kitties like to munch on house plants, which can be a dangerous habit because the plants can be toxic for the cat.

So...

Giving you kitty some veggies to much on is a better alternative.

  • Cheese

As kittens grow into cats, they become lactose intolerant.

So, naturally, we don't give our kitties anything that contains dairy in it.

But, cheese is actually a very rich source of protein and you can feed your cat come low-lactose cheese as a treat!

  • Fish

If you've watched Tom and Jerry as a kid like I did, you'll know that cats love fish---especially tuna.

You can give your cat some human-grade fish as a treat when treating yourself with seafood.

But, remember!

Don't feed your cat too much fish!

  • Eggs

Eggs---whether served raw or cooked are perfectly fine for your cats to eat. They are a great source of protein.

Some people argue that you should feed your cat raw eggs but, that could make your kitty sick.

  • Meat

Meat is very goof for your cat.

Make sure you take the fat out before feeding your cat some raw or cooked meat. This is because cats tend to put on weight!

So, did you have a misconception about any of these foods? Let me know in the comments section!

My cat loves when I give her tiny pieces of meat and cheese. She knows how to high five so she’ll sit there with her paw in the air waiting for me to high five her because she’s learned that’s how she gets treats!

I heard that onions and grapes are toxic for cats. You mentioned veggies so I thought I would bring it up.
